BOSSIER PARISH - A Shreveport man is locked up on drug charges after he fell asleep in his car on Christmas Eve. William Cody Bagley, 26, was sleeping in his car at a closed business. Sheriff's deputies say he had a lit cigarette in his mouth, his car was in drive, his foot was on the brake, and he was passed out. Detectives say the car started rolling, and they were able to wake Bagley up. When they searched the car, they found a half-smoked blunt. Detectives say they found other drugs in the car, and took him to jail.

ST. LANDRY PARISH - Sheriff's deputies say they've busted a pair of storage unit thieves. Dana Borrell and Joseph Randall were arrested by deputies after they were spotted leaving a storage facility on Rainbow Drive in Opelousas. We're told Borrell and Randall had a safe, a stereo, and burglary tools. Both are locked up in the St. Landry Parish jail tonight.

ST. TAMMANY PARISH - A tragic house fire took place on Goldfinch Road. Firefighters were called out just before 2 a.m. on Tuesday morning. We're told the man inside did not live at the house and died. A Louisiana probation and parole agent tried to rescue the man, but couldn't get in. The fire marshal's office is still investigating, but they've determined the fire was started by a space heater.

Parish by Parish airs every weekday at 6:30 p.m. on NBC33.
