Lafayette - A Breaux Bridge man is locked up after police say he led them on a chase. We're told it happened just after two this morning. Police say Clarence Boyd was driving recklessly, and led police on a chase when they tried to pull him over. Boyd is thought to have hit several barricades with his truck. Police say the barricades flew into the path, and damaged police cars. Boyd is facing a list of charges including aggravated flight, resisting an officer, and criminal damage to property.

East Baton Rouge - Twelve people were taken off East Baton Rouge streets in a prostitution sting. East Baton Rouge deputies say it happened over the weekend near a hotel on Essen Lane.
The name of the hotel isn't being released because deputies say they cooperated with investigators. The group faces charges ranging from prostitution to possession of a firearm with a controlled substance. Deputies tell NBC33 News the sting involved their office, along with the FBI, and the Baton Rouge Police.

Orleans - A contractor in New Orleans hired to tear down an old building, decided it was better for the environment to move it, although it weighed 280 tons, but they did it anyway. They lifted this old, two-story Coast Guard barracks onto eight remote controlled, self-propelled dollies with 64 tires, put it on a barge, and moved it a few miles to an rv park. In hopes of finding someone who wants it, the contractor says saving the building kept tons of waste from rotting in a landfill.

That's a look at what's happening - parish by parish.
