Ascension - Parish and state detectives still working to find out if a safe found earlier this week is the one stolen in a home invasion turned double murder. Deputies found 74 year old Robert Marchand and 50 year old Douglas Dooley dead in the house over the weekend. Marchand's 72 year old wife Shirley is still in critical condition. Their throats had been slashed. Deputies say the reason for the invasion - is what was in the safe - gold coins worth up to half a million dollars.
