NBC NEWS DESK-- Nissan announced its 3rd largest recall ever. Thursday's recall involves about 2.4 million vehicles mostly in the US and Japan.
The recall effects the March Micra, Cube and about a dozen other models made between August 2003 and July 2006.
All have been recalled to fix a faulty ignition relay that could cause engine problems.
A Nissan spokesman said no accident was reported from the defect and the recall was a precautionary measure.
Nissan says problems in the ignition relay could cause the engine to stall or fail to restart.

I think this is the first recall from the Nissan part. Its now becoming a trend by the car manufacturer to recall. The quality factor in the automobile sector is degrading.antique old cars
It is a big number but they have take a step to recall all the cars at rite time as a some more delay and if this problem causes problem to the engine of the cars they the really have to spend lot of money in fixing that problem ..Travel Trailer
