Night Out Against Crime

Night Out Against Crime
Wednesday, July 28, 2010 - 11:00am

The Baton Rouge Police Department is again partnering with area law enforcement agencies in the Greater Baton Rouge area to invite you to attend National Night Out Against Crime on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 5:00 pm at the Bon Carre’ Mall (formerly Bon Marche).

The 27th annual National Night Out will be held in communities all over America on this one night. Come out and join your local police departments to promote neighborhood spirit and community-police partnerships in our fight for safer communities.

This event is fun for the whole family. There will be free food, goodies, and a live band. Take the kids to the bicycle rodeo to learn about bike safety and get a free bike helmet. Get picture ID cards made for your kids. Learn about fire safety in the fire department’s interactive fire house. See police K-9 demonstrations and meet the huge police horses. Meet law enforcement personnel who will demonstrate the special tools of the job. Most of all learn how to make your neighborhood safe. Together we will show criminals that Baton Rouge is getting neighborhoods organized and fighting back.

Join us for National Night Out on August 3, at 5:00 pm at the Bon Carre’ Mall at 7241 Florida Blvd. (in the large parking lot in rear of Cox Communications.)
