NBC NATIONAL NEWS — Sgt. Davin Dumar and his wife Dana walked into their brand new house for the very first time this week.
The couple had been living this past year and 1/2 at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
"This is definitely an upgrade. Closer to family. My dad is 5 minutes away. Her parents are 2 minutes away," Dumar said.
Dumar lost his leg and damaged both of his hands when an IED exploded while he was serving in Afghanistan.
