NBC NEWS — The White House welcomed visitors today to deck the halls for the holidays.
In addition to the official White House Christmas tree, in the Blue Room, the likeness of the First Dog, Bo, is a prominent part of this season's decorations.
This year’s decorating theme is "Shine, Give, Share"; it honors the men and women serving in the armed forces.
Guests to the White House will see the Gold Star Families Tree as they enter; 85,000 visitors will see 37 different trees and a 400 pound gingerbread version of the White House.
