NBC NATIONAL NEWS — Still haven't picked where to go on your beach trip? Here's something you might want to consider - the National Resources Defense Council just released its annual list of the countries’ cleanest beaches.

The lists looks at factors like water quality and keep up. Twelve beaches get a "5 star" rating from the group.

Three sections of Newport Beach, California are on the list. Alabama's Gulf Shores Public Beach also makes the cut. Beaches in Texas are also on the list.
