Tens of thousands rally in North Korea

A massive anti-South Korea rally took place in the North Korean capital Pyongyang friday. Tens of thousands of Pyongyang citizens and soldiers gathered in the city's main square to condemn South Korea's president. North Korea's new leader Kim Jong-Un was not present, but the rally was attended by other top officials.

State media said the rally was in retaliation to anti-North Korean rallies held in Seoul earlier this month. The rally follows a threat made on wednesday by the north's defense ministry. In a statement, military leaders threatened to take, quote, "particular action" to attack South Korea.
