Two new studies have been released detailing the dangers with energy drinks.

A third of teens and roughly half of young adults report regularly consuming energy drinks.

Studies from Sweden show it is possible to overdose on caffeine, but researchers don't know how energy drinks that would take.

They say you shouldn’t take in more than 500 milligrams of caffeine per day.

Research also shows energy drinks combined with alcohol can temporarily reverse feelings of drunkenness, but people are still impaired when their reaction times are tested.

With more than half of college students reporting mixing alcohol with energy drinks in the past month, experts say people need to be aware of the risks.
