NBC NATIONAL NEWS — Researchers found women with depression were more likely to constantly worry about their infants at night and then check on them multiple times.
This caused an increase in night waking among these babies, even when they weren't in need of parental help or were sound asleep.
Experts say this disruption in the sleep of both mothers and their children could have negative effects on the parent-child relationship in the future.
