NBC NATIONAL NEWS — The number of young women diagnosed with advanced breast cancer has increased over the past thirty years.
There has been a steady increase in the number of 25-39 women diagnosed with advanced stages of the disease - about a two percent increase each year.
These women typically have a worse prognosis because they are not routinely screened for the disease, and are less likely to have health insurance.
