South Korea shuts down two nuclear reactors

NBC News — South Korea has shut down two of its nuclear reactors after it was discovered they were built with unauthorized parts. The reactors are in the southeast of the country. South Korea's government announced monday that the reactors will remain closed until the parts have been replaced.
According to South Korea's power authority, eight suppliers forged about 60 quality verification certificates while the plants were being built. Officials are warning that their could be quote "unprecedented" power shortages once the plants are taken off-line.
