NBC News — Three people are dead and one is in critical condition after a shooting at the University of Alberta campus in Canada. Police say the early morning shooting was an apparent robbery of an armored vehicle. The Edmonton campus remains on lockdown, authorities are telling students to stay in their dorms.

A police spokesman said no students were involved in the incident. Police are still hunting for the shooter or shooters. The shooting happened at a mixed use area on campus filled with student residences and shops.
