Red Cross helps Irene victims

Overall, more than 27,000 people spent the night in Red Cross shelters Saturday.
The group expects to help thousands of storm victims in more than a dozen states for the next several weeks, which takes thousands of disaster workers. Ten current volunteers helping victims of Irene are from the Baton Rouge area.
