Record flooding hits Southeast Asia

NBC News — The situation is desperate in Southeast Asia as both Thailand and Cambodia deal with record flooding. In Thailand, flood waters there have swamped more than two-thirds of the country, affecting some 8.8 million people. It's the worst flooding to hit the country in more than 50 years.
At least four major industrial parks have been inundated causing concern for the environment. Meanwhile, in neighboring Cambodia flooding and landslides from heavy monsoon rains have killed 247 people and affected more than one million people. Aid is finally reaching some of the hardest hit areas.
