NBC News — Police fired tear gas at anti-government protesters in Cairo tuesday. Opponents of Egypt's newly elected president say they'll press on with planned protests tuesday despite an announcement from the president that he'll pull back several of his controversial decrees issued last friday.
President Mohamed Morsi was accused of trying to become a dictator after he issued a series of decrees giving him major powers in the country. Protesters have been camped out in Cairo's iconic Tahrir Square since the announcements were made.
