NBC News — Anti-Putin protests continued into the night in Moscow. Hundreds of opposition demonstrators protested early into the morning against Vladimir Putin's inauguration as Russia's new president. Dozens were arrested, including two prominent opposition leaders who were arrested earlier in the week.
The demonstrators also tried to take over a main Moscow square. On monday more than 400 protesters were detained during Putin's swearing in ceremony. This is Putin's third term as president, he has ruled Russia since 2000, first as president and then during the past four years as prime minister due to term limits.
