NBC NATIONAL NEWS — President Obama unleashed his full-on campaign attack from Washington as voters cast their primary votes in D.C. and Maryland today and in closely-watched Wisconsin.
The Midwest battleground that some call a must win for Rick Santorum, but he trailed in pre-vote polls.
Mitt Romney campaigned with Wisconsin congressman Paul Ryan, whose GOP budget passed the house last week endorsed by Romney.
President Obama charged Republicans doubled down on radicalism, claiming the spending cuts were so deep they'd gut education, training and research.
He said he would cut spending as well but less.
He said he would also hike taxes on millionaires.
The math most on Mitt Romney's mind is delegate totals.
Today's primaries are winner-take-all and the pressure is on Romney who still has to win primaries and get delegates.
