President attends G-8 summit

President Barack Obama arrived in Deauville, France, Thursday morning after a short flight from London. The president spent two days in the United Kingdom, meeting with the country's Prime Minister and members of the royal family.

The president is now in northern France for the G-8 summit. There he will meet with world leaders from Canada, Britain, Germany, France, Japan, Italy and Russia. Also invited, their counterparts from Tunisia, Egypt and the head of the Arab League. This year's meeting's theme is "New World, New Ideas."
