NBC News — A former Fijian cabinet minister claims agents from New Zealand's intelligence service raided his Auckland home as part of an investigation into an alleged plot to assassinate Fiji's military leader. The pro-democracy campaigner says he is accused of plotting against Fiji's top military leader Frank Bainimarama.
The former politician fled his native Fiji last year where he is wanted on charges of conspiring to overthrow the government. Despite this, he denies any knowledge of an assassination plot.
