EL PASO, TX (KTSM) — A female who was found dead near a canal July 3 has been identified as Freda Charlene Truelove, 50. Investigators said there were no signs of foul play in her death, but have not been able to locate Truelove's next-of-kin.

Detectives are asking for the communities help in locating a family member for Truelove. Investigators have received unconfirmed reports that Truelove may have family in the State of Florida.
