ORIGINAL STORY: The Los Angeles Police Department has re-opened its investigation into Natalie Wood's death.

Homicide detectives say they have received new information and will hold a news conference Friday, Nov. 18 about the case.

Wood drowned after a night out drinking on a yacht with her husband, actor Robert Wagner and actor Christopher Walken in 1981.

Wood's body was found in a cove near the yacht's dinghy.
