Painted tank makes its way back to Prague
Prague (NBC) — A hot pink tank has returned to central Prague to mark the 20th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops.
It became a symbol for many of the 1968 Soviet invasion that crushed liberal reforms blossoming in Prague at the time.
In April 1991 during the collapse of the Soviet Union, David Cerny and friends painted the tank pink. Now the tank is back in the country, commemorating the withdrawal.
