Online shoppers scammed out of more than $2 billion this holiday season

NBC NATIONAL NEWS — Online holiday shoppers got ripped off by more than $2 billion between November and December this year, according to the Consumer Fraud Center.
The CFC finds that cybercriminals took advantage of bargain hunters, selling them counterfeit clothing, accessories, toys, electronics, personal care and beauty items, CDs, DVDs and video games.
