NBC NATIONAL NEWS — It will take several days to clean up an oil spill near a Pascagoula, Mississippi refinery.
Chevron officials say the company has hired multiple contractors to remove 45 barrels of heavy oil that were released in the Bayou Casotte Channel.
A chevron inspector discovered the leak a little before 4:00 a.m. this morning.
Since then, the leaky pipe has been shut off until further notice. Chevron says the spill is not a danger to the community.
