United States (NBC33) — The U.S. Military has repealed its "Don't ask, Don't tell" policy. Gays can now openly serve in the military for the first time.
The law had allowed homosexuals to serve in the military. This was only if they kept their sexual orientation a secret.
The policy was originally signed into law by President Bill Clinton back in 1993.
