Three new apps help iPad users choose their own news updates.

The app, Zite, is totally free and has an accurate way of automatically learning what the iPad user likes with an elegant magazine look.

Zite delivers news, articles, blog, videos, and everything the iPad user wants and new stuff they will love.

The Early Edition app is similar but is displayed like a news paper instead of a magazine.

Early Edition displays customizable content from the topics the user chooses in a column layout.

Interesting articles can be shared with friends via with all the social media tools.

Early Edition cost $4.99.

The app, Flipboard, which perhaps is the slickest in terms of appearance is free app.

Flipboard creates a personalize magazine.

The user can flip through Facebook, news feeds, tweet from Twitter timeline, photos from friends and much more.

The user can also read blogs, websites and other online publications about only the things the user is interested in.

All these apps also have versions that work on the iPhone but are made to look the best on the iPad.
