Investigators are looking for a man who gave a very odd reason for reportedly intruding into two different Larimer County homes last month.

Investigators from the Larimer County Sheriff's Office say that on the night of August 23rd, the suspect trespassed into two houses on Spring Glade Road in northwest Loveland.

At the first house, the homeowner told deputies he was going to bed when he heard a man say "hello" in his living room. When he went downstairs, he discovered a stranger sitting on his couch.

According to Larimer County Sheriff's Office spokesman John Schulz, when he was questioned, the man told the homeowner he had been "sent by God to marry his daughter."

The intruder left after the homeowner asked him to leave. He then went to a neighbor's house where he was stopped by the homeowner in the driveway.

"The man gave the neighbor the same story, that he had been sent by God to marry his daughter. The neighbor told the man he did not have a daughter," said Schulz.

Again, the man then left after the homeowner asked him to do so.

Investigators are looking for more information on the suspect who is described as a white male between the age of 25 and 30 years old, approximately 5-foot-eight and 130 pounds. Deputies say he was driving a newer silver Honda or Toyota.
