Libyan revolutionary forces prepare final assault

NBC News — Revolutionary forces moved tanks toward the front line wednesday near Bani Walid. They're trying to capture one of Moammar Khaddafy's last enclaves of armed support. Nearly a month after fighters backed by a NATO bombing campaign seized control of Tripoli, Libya's new leaders are still trying to take control of Bani Walid.
The desert town is located about 90 miles southeast of the capital. Militias have been pushing into Bani Walid in recent days but have been forced to retreat after fighting with Khaddafy loyalists. Forces fighting for the National Transitional Council say they're preparing a coordinated military assault in the coming days.
