Libyan airport taken by rebels
NBC News — Rebels say they've secured Tripoli's commercial airport after fighting off Khaddafy loyalists. The remains of charred planes smoldered on the tarmac. A Libyan airlines plane and an Afriqiya plane were destroyed.
Fighting between rebels and Khaddafy's forces continues in the Libyan capital. Rebels say they're confident they'll be able to purge the die hard Khaddafy loyalists from Tripoli. Moammar Khaddafy's location remains unclear. A two million dollar bounty has been placed on the fallen Libyan leader's head.
