Lady Gaga lands in Tokyo
NBC News — Pop icon Lady Gaga landed at the airport in Tokyo tuesday decked from head to toe in green to hoards of screaming fans. When asked upon her arrival at Tokyo's Narita International Airport the reason for her emerald hair, olive leather jacket and green shoes, Lady Gaga said she wanted to promote a green cause. One of the best selling pop acts today, Lady Gaga arrived in Japan to star in a charity event hosted by MTV later this week.
The show will be in support of the victims of the massive earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan back in March. Lady Gaga arrived from Canada where she was promoting her new album "Born This Way". She will be staying in Japan until July 1st.
