Japanese operator claims nuclear power plant under control

NBC News — The Japanese government and Tokyo Electric Power Company tuesday announced a revised plan to bring the Fukushima nuclear plant under control. Japan and the operator of the damaged nuclear plant said they met their goal of reducing radiation coming from the plant over the past three months.
Radiation from reactors one and three has been cut to two millionth of the peak recorded after the nuclear accident in march. Japan's economy, trade and industry minister says the crisis is not over but that measures to end it are making steady progress.
