Israel waiting to take position on Iran's nuclear program
NBC News — Israel's Foreign Minister said monday that his country is waiting to see what action the international community takes on Iran's nuclear program before coming out with its own position. Avigdor Lieberman spoke after a meeting of the Israeli Parliament's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee.
A report last week by the U.N. Atomic Agency was its strongest yet on Iran, saying that the country is conducting secret work with the sole intent of developing nuclear arms. Iran claims the evidence in the report is baseless and says its nuclear program is only for energy and research. It is unclear so far what action the international community will take.
