Israel set for parliamentary elections

NBC News — Israeli soldiers deployed in the occupied West Bank got a head start on parliamentary voting monday. Israeli soldiers began voting on saturday. The rest of the country will head to the polls tuesday to select members of the country's Knesset, or parliament.
Two polls released on friday showed Israel's right-wing and religious bloc winning a slim majority. If that holds, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's political party, the Likud, will hold on to power despite a drop in poll numbers.
