Iraqis head to the mall
NBC News — As the security situation in Iraq continues to improve, more and more Iraqis are heading to the mall. Shopping malls have popped up across Baghdad and more are under construction.
Many Iraqis view the opening of these massive shopping centers as a sign that life is returning to normal in the war ravaged country. The malls are similar to ones here in the U.S., filled with designer shops, department stores and even food courts. Many of the new malls are being built by foreign investors.
