NBC NEWS — Some 70,000 police officers in Iran are enforcing a strict dress code. The Government has launched a strict summer dress campaign to curb "Western" influence. The latest guidelines for men: no pony tails, spiked hair styles, or mullets. Anything too liberal is outlawed. If they don't comply--they'll get a warning, a hair cut, or must change their clothes. For women: no tight clothes or earrings. If women don't comply they'll get a stern lecture on Islamic clothing or values-- and if they don't take immediate action they could be arrested.
