Iranians torn over internal and external threats
NBC News — Iranians appear to be torn over the country's threats of action if a U.S. aircraft carrier returns to waters off of its coast. The country's state news agencies reported online tuesday the warning to the U.S. by the nation's army chief.
The top military leader did not name the aircraft carrier or give details of the action Iran might take if it returned. However some Iranians say they are not sure military action is the best course at this time. Officials within the Iranian government have theatened to seal off the Strait of Hormuz from oil shipments if they are not allowed to continue their nuclear program.
