Iran tests long range missle
NBC News — Iran's state news agency announced monday that the country's military successfully test fired a long range missile during its ongoing gulf drill. Iran has been holding a ten day naval exercise. Sunday, it successfully test fired a medium range surface to air missile.
The missile tests come just days after Iran threatened to halt oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz. Iran's government has stated that the country has become the target of an oil embargo over its nuclear program. The U.S. Fifth Fleet said it will not allow any disruption of traffic in the vital oil shipping route.
