Iran condemns foreign interference in Syria
NBC News — Iran condemned tuesday what it called foreign interference in the affairs of its closest Arab ally Syria. A spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry praised embattled Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad, calling him a reformer and problem solver.
Tehran has tempered down its rhetoric on Syria as the crisis there has dragged on for ten months. The United Nations says more than 5000 civilians have been killed in the violence in Syria.
