Libya's transitional leaders have agreed to cooperate with the International Criminal Court and the U.N. in the investigation of alleged crimes committed by Moammar Khaddafy's son Saif. The ICC's chief prosecutor Luis Moreno Ocampo said he received a letter from the National Transitional Council's chairman pledging full cooperation with the ICC and U.N. Security Council.

The ICC has charged Saif Al-Islam and Khaddafy's intelligence chief with crimes against humanity for the crackdown on the uprising that began in February. Saif Al-Islam is being held by fighters from Zintan. The International Committee of the Red Cross visited him on November 22nd and said he appeared to be in good health.
