NBC News — Britain's horsemeat scandal widens. Some beef lasagna products have been recalled from stores in the U.K. after it was discovered that they contained more than 60% horsemeat. It's the latest revelation in a growing scandal surrounding the use of horsemeat and the mislabeling of meat products in Europe.
Frozen-food company Findus recalled the beef lasagna meals earlier this week after a French supplier raised concerns that the products didn't quote "conform to specification." Already this month, millions of burgers have been taken off shop shelves after it emerged that beef products from three companies in Ireland and Britain contained horse DNA.
