Hockey mom faces sex allegations
NBC NATIONAL NEWS — A California hockey mom is facing charges after allegedly having sexual relations with members of her teenage son's hockey team.
Kathia Maria Davis, 44, of Laguna Niguel, was arrested at her home last week on suspicion of unlawful sex with a minor, according to Orange County Sheriff's Department spokesman Jim Mormino.
Authorities say they are looking into a possible third victim.
"The suspect would have parties for members of the hockey team," said Mormino. "This also involved some sleepovers. One of the alleged acts did happen at a sleepover after family members had gone to sleep."
Davis' neighbors say they are surprised to hear about this news.
"She's super friendly, really outgoing and nice," said neighbor Elizabeth Willey. "I've chatted with her a couple of times and I'm shocked to hear that."
Davis was released on $25,000 bail.
