Got the 'Winter Blues'? You're not alone
NBC NEWS — A new study says 5 percent of Americans suffer from a case of the ‘Winter Time Blues’, also known as Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).
Symptoms include hopelessness, fatigue and trouble concentrating. These symptoms usually start in early winter and fade in the spring.
There isn't any way to prevent SAD, but experts say spending time outdoors, especially in the morning can curb symptoms, as well as eating healthy and exercising.
