NBC News — Has former LAPD officer Christopher Dorner, the man with a one million dollar bounty on his head, already fled to Mexico? According to a federal court document, it appears to be a possibility. The criminal complaint filed in federal court on February 7th charges Dorner with fleeing to avoid prosecution, stating that there was reason to believe he had already crossed the border into the neighboring country.
Dorner is suspected in the shooting deaths of three people in southern California, including a police officer. On monday, prosecutors filed a murder charge against Dorner in the shooting death of Riverside, California police officer Michael Crain. Dorner is also wanted in connection with the murders of the daughter of a former police department captain and her fiancé, but charges have not yet been filed in that case.
