Former Israeli Prime Minister indicted for bribery
NBC News — Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert was indicted thursday on new bribery charges. The new charges come while the former prime minister is already on trial for corruption.
Prosecutors say Olmert and other officials took millions of dollars in bribes while he was Jerusalem's mayor from 1993 to 2003. The 83 page indictment said the project's developers, who also have been charged in the case, received zoning and tax breaks in return for bribes. Olmert has denied any wrongdoing.
