FEMA to place houses in Joplin for tornado victims
Joplin, MO (NBC33) — The next phase of housing for tornado victims in Joplin, Missouri is underway.
FEMA will place 346 manufactured homes just south of the Joplin Regional Airport. Nearly 650 families affected by the tornado still need housing assistance.
FEMA will pay for most utilities and even provide storm shelters and playground areas.
