Elderly Shreveport man with medical illness reported missing

SHREVEPORT, LA (KMSS) — Law enforcement officials are looking for an 87-year-old man who walked away from his Shreveport home Thursday morning.
At 9:54 a.m., police were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 1500 block of Sycamore Avenue on reports of a missing person.
When officers made it to the scene, a family member told police she had stopped to check on Foster Anderson, 87, who lives there , and discovered he had walked away from the apartments and has not been seen since.
Other residents believe Mr. Anderson left his home some time Wednesday.
Anderson, who reportedly suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, is described as a black male, approximately 5' 7" tall and weighs about 125 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, a beige jacket and blue jeans. He is also believed to be wearing a bracelet engraved with his name and other identifying information.
