Easter Eggs at the White House

The ticket lottery for the 2012 White House easter egg roll is open, and NBC got a peep at what this year's souvenir eggs look like.

The eggs come in four bold colors: yellow, blue, green, red and purple.

The red egg is part of the 5-pack collector's egg set featuring for the first time, first dog "Bo".

Keepsake wooden eggs became part of the white house egg roll tradition in 1981. When President and Mrs. Ronald Reagan hosted a hunt for wooden eggs with the signatures of famous people.

The White House easter egg roll will take place on Monday, April ninth.
