Dr. Conrad Murray charged with involuntary manslaughter
NBC NEWS — Michael Jackson's personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter today.
The verdict comes after 9 hours of deliberation and testimony from 49 witnesses, including recordings from Jackson himself.
On day two of deliberation, the jury said Murray is guilty in the death of the pop star.
Jurors considered more than 300 pieces of evidence, and testimony from Murray's girlfriends and patients, and Jackson's former employees.
The Houston cardiologist faces up to 4 years in prison and the loss of his medical license. Sentencing is set for November 29. Jackson died on June 25, 2009.
